The search possibilities when opening a sales or purchase order are extended. It is no longer necessary to first select the customer/supplier, as you can now directly search on order number.
This possibility is also available when searching for a delivery. Next to this, it is possible when making a delivery to make a selection based on the sales order number.
During the opening of a sales or purchase order automatically the search window Customers/ Suppliers was opened until now.
Close this window via [Cancel].
Click on [Search order]. In the opened search window it is possible to search directly on order number.
Next to this, there can also be searched on for example reference or match code Customer/Supplier. The choice can be made in a dropdown list.
If you always want to search on for example reference, then this can be done by checking the checkbox 'Save settings' on the bottom left of the window. Every time the window is then opened the selected search criteria will be shown as the default search criteria.
The program can be set up in such a way that, when opening the sales or purchase order window, the search window for the order number will be opened. This instead of the search window for Customers/Suppliers. To set this up, open a random sales order and right-click in the list field (white part of the window). Select in the menu the option 'Properties'. In the opened window place a tick in the second tab page in the checkbox 'Show directly order search window'. Close the window with [OK]. Then also close the sales order window. When opening the sales order window again, the search window for order numbers will directly be opened.
If wanting the same to happen to the purchase order window then the properties of the purchase order window will need to be changed as well. This can be done similar to the sales order window.
When opening a delivery until now the search window 'Customers' was automatically opened.
Close the window via [Cancel].
Click on [Search deliv.]. In the opened search window there can directly be searched for delivery number. Next to this, there can also be searched for, for example, delivery date or match code Customer.
If wanting to always search for delivery date then this can be set up by placing a tick in the checkbox 'Save settings' when on the preferred criteria. Then every time the window is opened, the option delivery date is the default search criteria.
The program can be set up in a way that, when opening the delivery window, the search window for the delivery number will always be opened. This instead of the search window for Customers. To set this up, open a random delivery and right-click with the cursor in the list field (white part of the window). Select in the menu the option 'Properties'. In the opened window place a check in the first tab page in the checkbox 'Display delivery search window immediately'. Close the window with [OK]. Then also close the delivery window. When opening the delivery window again, the search window for delivery numbers will directly be opened.
After a delivery is selected or a new delivery is made, all sales order lines (that can be delivered) are shown on screen.
When there are multiple sales orders from a customer, it can be difficult to find the 'correct' articles in this. There are two options to simplify this search.
As a default the sales order lines are sorted on plant name. But if clicked once on the title of the column 'Order' then the lines will be sorted on sales order number. The sorting is then ascending. When clicking on the title again then the sorting will be descending.
All sales order lines are now placed together for which the articles are sorted on plant name.
Via a multi selection, the desired lines can be selected and delivered.
Selecting based on sales order number
After opening a delivery a selection can be made on sales order number. In the header of the tab page "Deliver" you find a dropdown list. In this dropdown list are all sales order numbers of the customer for which the delivery is made or opened. Click on the sales order number and in the list area only the sales lines are shown from that selected sales order. Only those sales lines that can still be delivered are shown.
In the second dropdown list, the option 'All lines' can be selected. This makes that recently delivered lines are also shown. Then there can be seen what the customer has recently received.
